Lilian
The last 3 pictures are from Lilian's 130th Birthday Party. If you look carefully you can see the cake!
This is Lilian, she is a 0-4-0ST Port Class Quarry Hunslet built for the Penrhyn Slate Quarry in 1883.
She was bought by Nigel Bowman in 1965 for £60 and restored by him to the superb condition we
see her in today. Lilian's tender was built by the Bowmans in their own workshop.
She wasn't running on the day i visited but hopefully will be the next time i'm there.
She was indeed running on my second visit!
