Weeden 903

There are two different styles of The Weeden No. 903, this one with just a safety valve and whistle is the more common.
This one is in remarkable condition considering that even if it was one of the last ones produced it would still be 69
years old. Weeden produced these between the late 1930's and 1942. Another ebay find, the only thing missing is
the chimney which normaly sits over the steam dome. The element appears to be ok so i'm just waiting for some
copper tube to make the chimney from and we can get her steaming!

Ok, here she is now mounted on a nice base and sporting what i hope is a reasonable facsimile of the chimney.
As it's an American engine that should probably read 'smokestack'! The base plate of this Weeden doesn't have
any holes and not wanting to drill the base i decide to make some wooden clamps to hold it to the wooden base.
Video here.
