Luton Bowman PW202


This is the Luton Bowman PW202, the third of the Luton Bowman Stationary engines, made sometime
between 1946 & 1950. Missing the burner, cylinder, piston and conrod. Replica burners are available and
it should be fairly easy to make the other parts.

The piston was 5/16" in diameter so a new cylinder was made from a piece of 1/2" brass rod, bored and reamed to 5/16".
A piece of 5/16" brass rod was used to make the piston and the conrod was filed from some brass sheet. Pictured with
a burner borrowed from my PW201.
