Mersey Model 51

This is the first Mersey Model Steam Engine in my collection and it is a Model 51.
This is an early Mersey Model produced while they were at Peters Lane.
An ebay purchase from Mike Cook and it is in need of a little restoration.
The burner, safety vale and both the steam feed & exhaust pipes are missing.
First steam here.

Until i can source a Mersey safety valve & burner here is the finished engine. For tomorrows test
steam it is using a Mamod safety valve and a small meths burner i had which is approximately the
same size as the Mersey one.

Found someone on ebay who sells replica Mersey safety valves and very good they are too.
