AnDel Models Guards Van

The Milford Hill Light Railway needed a Guards/Brake Van so i thought i'd try a resin kit having only built plywood
ones so far. This is an AnDel Models Guards Van, well most of it is. Unfortunately it was missing both chassis rails
and had the wrong buffers. As an email to AnDel brought no response i had to manufacture the chassis rails and
the buffers are from I P Engineering. I think it turned out ok but i would be wary of buying another AnDel kit after
my experiences with this one.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: AnDel Models have recently been in touch with me and it would seem that they never
received my email regarding the missing parts. As result they have very kindly offered me one of their new
C&M Guard's Van kits as compensation.

I decided that my first Guards Van need some added touches, chiefly a rear light. After doing some research on
the net i descovered that working lights start from around £16 and go up. So i decided to have a go at making one,
you can see the results below. I've also added black buffer boards, full length running boards/steps and a stove pipe.

More mods for my humble Guards Van! A couple of windows have been added and it now has a removeable roof.
