Josef Falk 1442/2

This lovely little engine is a Josef Falk Model Number 1442/2. Falk was one of the famous German Nurnberg
manufacturers of model steam engines and produced them from 1896 to 1935. This one was made round about
1930. These pictures were taken straight out of the box after it arrived from ebay.

Here it is after a few days in the workshop. The only parts i had to replace were the boiler mounting
brackets which were both broken. They were originally riveted on but my replacements use 8BA screws.
I decided to leave the paintwork as i'm sure it's original and it cleaned up very well. Video here.
