Roundhouse Dylan
Latest addition to The Milford Hill Light Railway's loco stable, a very early meths fired Roundhouse Dylan.
Delivered personally by Simon Whenmouth from Anything Narrow Gauge. It is an excellent example of
one of Roundhouse's first locos. Here is a video of it's first run with some carriages.
The Dylan has now had some work done, all the brasswork has been polished and the paintwork cleaned.
The safety valve cover has gone, i thought it was way too large for the low lines of the Dylan. A new water
tank filler cap has been turned up on the lathe, more typical of this type of loco. A new fixing for the whistle,
the buffer beam screws have been replaced with hex head ones. Also gone are the Roscoe Lubricators which
were fixed to the front of the tank, they didn't look right without any pipework.
