Bowman M101

This giant of a model steam engine is the largest Bowman the M101. Made between the late 1920s and
early 1930s. The boiler holds about a pint of water to the level plug and the flywheel weighs about 1lb.
This one has been restored, it's not a bad job although the base should be green and the transfer is not
original. When it arrived the steam pipe was loose where it attaches to the engine block and the piston
was seized in the cylinder. Fortunately both easy to fix, so here's the first run video.
